#AskTheExpert Baby got sudden fever yesterday going with medicine but again turning after 4 hrs but at night after giving medicine also it dint turned out.pls suggest.still shes having fever i will visit doct @10

A. it may eb any viral. Fever is temperature more than 99. Give paracetamol for fever and can be given times in a day . If temperature does not comes down then sponging can be done or if baby not looking well then need to see a doctor .

A. hi dear If his or her temperature is above 100.4 degrees, it is time to call us. For children ages three months to three years, call us if there is a fever of 102 degrees or higher. For all kids three years and older, a fever of 103 degrees or higher means it is time to call Pediatrics East.
