constipation is mostly caused by inadequate intake of fluids and low fiber diet.
so I advise to keep your child well hydrated.
give fiber rich food like spinach soup, tomatoes soup , prune juice , fruit like pear, papaya plum banana etc to your child.
give warm milk with one tbsp of ghee daily before sleep time .
