as soon as the child recover kindly gro for flu vaccine which will help in preventing recurrent viral infections.
go for proper homemade food made from cereals pulses vegetable mrilk and fruits which will help in improving the overall immunity of the child

If the temperature is more It's better to check with your doctor and follow his advise. That would be the best and safest option.
