Q.

#asktheexpert at night baby takes breastfeed for 2 hours and sometimes even more.. at last i end up giving top feed.. how to manage this..

A. During 1st 3 days the Milk secretion is very low . You need to hold the baby properly so that baby feels easy to latch the nipples and learns to take the feed properly. If the baby is not comfortable in the position You are holding then they do not latch properly. you should feed the baby only for 10 to 15 minutes and not more than that

A. hi it is completely normal please don't stick to Particular amount and timetable offer breasfeeding as per your child needs burp your baby well after each feeding make sure your child get enough milk
