#asktheexpert are neonatal seizers temporary, newborn facing seizers because of delayed cry and got admitted and on medicine, from then he didn't get any seizers/fits and doctor has prescribed 1 month course after completion he'll do EEG to decide the continuation of medication. any advice on this.

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist1 Year agoA. depending on cause. better to show to specialist always as they get the correct diagnosis. try to avoid self and extra medication that will only complicate this and create more damage to the child
