#AskTheExpert and baby is 1 month 8 days old and he is doing pebbal pop from past two three days. he is also not sleeping properly what should I do.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. uu cdBabies below 6 months may not be passing stool regularly a constipation of 8 to 10 days is absolutely normal in them there is no need of any medicines

Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoidetd before 1 yegar of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .
