Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex coldf/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated srymptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

This can be because of change in weather of congestion. In such case you can use nasal clear drops to clean your baby’s nose. You can also give steam with warm water twice a day. Addvery little amount of turmeric and babies milk and also give 1 teaspoon of honey once in a day it will help in curing cold and cough
