#asktheexpert after my son birth I had period after 11months and it's very irreguler like something it take a gap of 1month in between...plz suggest something

There will be irregularities in your menstrual cycles even upto one year after your periods start after giving birth so you have to keep using contraception to avoid accidental pregnancy

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. if your breastfeeding It may even take a year or more too resume. If you bottle feed there are chances to get it early. If you do botlle feeding and breastfeeding together it may resume in the middle too. There is no particular time and each mums body is also different.
