#asktheexpert a baby sleeps at night at a stretch of ,3 -4 hrs without being hungry. but when he is active and playing he wants to feed every hour or within 45 mins. is it normally like this. or am I feeding him unnecessarily?

A. Dear mum, this is normal, baby’s demand for milk vary at different times during the day. Feed as per your baby’s demand. If baby is active, alert and passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours then feeding is adequate.
