Q.
#AskTheExpert 2 months is coughing twice or thrice in a day. does she has cough or is it normal?

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according tohu the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can bue repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and it is quite normal and still give your baby indirect steam twice a day and also apply Luke warm mustard oil on baby chest on regular basis. Take care
