#AskTheExpert 2.5 months old baby boy poop once in 3-4 days and strain with face reddish while pooping. Although the stool is soft and yellowish in colour. Please advise

Dr AnjanaMom of a 2 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. it is normal that the baby poops only once in 4 days..exclusively breast fed babies might not poop everyday..do not give water or anything other than milk.until y months babies should be fed with milk only...to keep baby hydrated u can increase the frequency of breast feeding

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 1 m old girl2 years agoA. Keep baby well hydrated Give them lukewarm water every morning. Include a banana everyday. These two are best constipation relievers. Also you can soak raisins in water over night and can filter can water alone. This is also quite effective.
