Check for the eye contact whether he is able to look at your face whenever you communicate with him. check whether he is able to follow simple verbal commands as by two years of age children used to follow two step verbal commands. Check for socialization whether he could be able to mingle with peer groups. you have to make sure that his vocabulary is keep on increasing each week. so it's better to have a quick consultation to a speech and language pathologist.
