#askthedoctor my baby is born when my gestational age is 35 weeks 5 days and weighed 2.36 kgs and reduced to 2.18 kgs and came back to birth weight recently..How many kgs should she gain within one month?What is the normal weight gain for late preterm babies?

A. Hi In general course of scenario we say a minimum of 400 g is considered very good and healthy and for a pre-term child if your child is gaining about 250 g to 300 also then that’s going to be Fab you know for a pre-term child so that’s good
