#askthedoctor My 15days old newborn has developed oral thrush on his tongue n buccal cavity, i have been using nipple shield for the past few days as I am experiencing cracked nipple and my nipple is flat. should I be concerned about the thrush? what can I do to prevent it from increasing?

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist3 years agoA. yes it us important to visit a pediatrician and get proper treatment regarding the same. do not ignore it. make sure the nipple shield is always clean and sterilized properly before every use
