#askthedoctor I see baby's nose some hard mucus is attached to wall, a nurse said clean its nose or else it can't breath. how to clean it?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. This can occurs due to weather changes and temperature variations or simple cold and rarely infection.
kindly give nasal saline drops (nasoclear /nasivion s)every three hourly and since it is a salt water/saline water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and again for nasal blockage and respiratory cough.
It will dissolve mucus in nose and throat.
For fever and pacin give paracetamol
Try to prevent temperature variations around the child and you can also give indirect steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor

Can use a loss cleanser that is available in the market this is very easily available you can clean the nose with that it is mostly called a nose applicator to figure out more about it I think you should just talk to your paediatrician about it
