#askthe expert gave para 250mg for 5 year old kid for fever, fever is not reduced still high. doctor suggested if fever is high give ibuprofen syrup for high fever. how long the gap needed for these 2 syrups..

A. dear mom. keep a gap of four hours atleast you can do tepid sponging with room temp water to bring down high temp. give your child lots of liquids. o k

A. A minimum of six hours is important gap to be maintained between two different paracetamol also if you’re giving so you will have to wait accordingly and once six hours is completed to the first dose of medicine then you can go ahead with it
