once the baby completes 1 year of age you can add salt and little sugar in his diet
limit the amount of sugar as natural sugar is present in cereals, fruits , pulses, vegetables

Now your baby is nine months old so you can add very little amount of salt in babies regular food items. But in starting few months give in very less quantity once baby will turn one year old so you can add the salt according to the test and then you can give daily routine food.
