UMBILICAL HERNIA OCCURS DUE TO WEAKNESS IN MUSCLES OF the ABDOMINAL WALL AROUND THE UMBLICUS, it is KIND of development defect . 1.DONT WORRY, WAIT AND OBSERVE 2.,NO INTERVENTIONS NEEDED TILL 2 YEARS 3.GIVE VITAMIN D AND CALCIUM SUPPLEMENTS.. 4.CONSULT PED SURGEON IF DOESN'T SUBSIDES BY 2 YEAR 5.KINDLY RULE OUT HYPOTHYROIDISM. 6.CONSULT SOS IF OTHER ABNORMAL FEATURES PRESENT. A. umbilical hernia is because of weakness in the anterior abdominal muscles around umbilicus as the baby will be growing in age generally the muscles will become strength and it will be reducing
