#askexperts hi doctory my baby is 4 months old can the flat head be corrected at home..is there any chance of baby head become round even after baby has completed 4 months

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 4 months old and he is having a flat head so don’t worry it’s due to sleeping position and will be normal automatically as he grows up to 2 years

Flat head in Babies is very common mostly on one side initially when the baby is not flipping on the sides in the first few months . so because of the continuous pressure over the soft skull bones such flattening can be there . This will become normal by itself gradually when the skull grow in size and shape with age . No musturd vt seed pillow or any such kind of intervention like massage is required for the corrrction .
