Q.

#askexpertadvice Hi everyone my baby is close to 11 months old ideally he should drink 500-700ml milk (formula) per day but he hardly drinks any.. only 20ml to be precise. He used to drink atlest 90ml but now totally rejecting bottle or formula milk. I need suggestions on what should I do as it is very much concerning for me. TIA.

A. It's absolutely normal for baby to drink less breast milk if she is eating a significant amount of solid foods. She's simply beginning to move toward a more “grown up” diet. If you think it's because she's just too distracted to breastfeed, though, try moving feedings to a dark, quiet room.
