#askexpert my baby is 5days old... he dispose loose greenish stool.. his feeding is good .. bt is there any issues of Greenish stool?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist2 years agoA. can be infection. better to show to specialist always as they get the correct diagnosis. try to avoid self and extra medication that will only complicate this and create more damage to the child

Green poop may indicate a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance in breastfed babies, which results in your baby is getting a larger portion of foremilk (watery milk) than hindmilk (thicker, fattier milk). Though this can cause tummy discomfort, it doesn't indicate a milk supply issue or problem with your milk.
