A. Is the child teething. Then she may feel irritated Also The child is starting to realise the real world. That she cannot get everything she wants and sometimes there are restrictions which she could not get used to initially. This will show up as tantrums and sometimes even through violence. Whenever your toddler hurts herself or others or cries or shows aggressive behaviour , hug her and explain to her with love that it is not the right way to ask something. Keep on repeating this and show how she can let out her anger without hurting herself or anybody or crying or being aggressive and stay cool. Also don't give up fearing for her tantrums and give everything she asks for. Then she will keep on repeating this. Try to console her by hugging, cuddling and calming her down. But never give what she asks for unless it is really necessary. Even those things which u can give her, give it before she throws a tantrum. Otherwise she will get into the belief that she can get anything through her crying and hurting.
