#askdoctors My baby girl is 3 months and 14 days old. Everyone are suggesting to feed her cerelac and some are telling not to. I'm confused whether to start feeding her cerelac?

A. It is not advisable to give solids to three months to four months age of baby for the following reasons: ... Nutrients present in infant formula or your breast milk is important for your baby during 3-4 months of age. Solid foods like Cerelac might replace those nutrients.
