#AskDoctors I undergo cesarian delivery, is it safe to take Ato Z multivitamin tablet? Does it effect milk, as I only breastfeed my baby? Should I take medicine for iron? If not, kindly suggest any alternative.

ExpertRamya RamachandranNutritionist5 years agoA. Dear ma’am, most medicines are compatible with breastfeeding and multivitamins are safe. However even if they are OTC it is always better to consult your doctor and then take it as per their advice. Iron supplements not required if your Hb levels are normal and you are eating a fairly balanced diet.
