Chitra AMom of a 6 yr 6 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi I am a mom of 2.4 old girl and a speech language pathologist. By two yrs they started to speak a very simple two words combination or a phrase level. for ex if a baby want biscuit they will express it as Mamma biki. By three years they will use 3-4 words level sentences. Some kids even may narrate a simple story in a telegraphic way by 2.5 depending on the interaction and exposure of communication from the environment
