Q.

#askdoctors How can my baby gain weight? I’ve did lots of changes in his food Dry fruits, bananas, mangoes, dairy products etc Please help me to the right way where am I going wrong

A. dear parent, for a 3 years old baby, in addition to the foods that you are giving, you should give a balanced diet having variety of food groups. grains and millets 3 servings pulses legumes/egg non veg: 1-2 servings seasonal vegetables including green leafy vegetables: 1.5 serving fruits1 serving milk and milk products 500ml sugar 4 tsp oil 5 tsp control intake of process packaged food

A. you should see that baby is well active and play full and you should feed your baby at regular interval of around 2 hours give baby easy to eat food and keep your baby well hydrated and keep on giving food of different consistency so that baby will keep on getting some different types of food
