As by 1 year, baby learns to chew a bit, you should include variety of foods in the diet like oatmeal with nuts ,milkshakes with dry fruits, fresh juices, curd, buttermilk, coconut water, chapati with paneer gravy, chicken soup, besan and beetroot cheela, idli-dosa with sambhar, stuffed parantha, chicken and fish curry with rice, mixed vegetable soup, khichdi, dalia, pan cakes, waffle, boiled egg, omelette, etc.
Yes, you need to give atleast 550-650 ml milk everyday to baby and if you want, mix dry fruit powder or date puree or fresh fruit puree to increase the taste and nutritional value.
