#askdoctors hello doctor my baby is 1.5 years old she still feed I want her to quit completely but she get irritated ,what should I do for weaning?

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Try giving outside milk to start with. Give in colourful Sippy cups or glasses to encourage your child to drink milk like cow milk or buffalo milk or packet milk. Limit the milk intake to maximum of 500ml per day. Rest of the nutrition should come from healthy solids. Start weaning off with one feed at a time. Take the help of your spouse to soothe the baby to sleep instead of you breastfeeding.
