Q.

#askanexpert I am 18 Weeks pregnant on thyronorm 12.5mg yesterday I got my tsh tested it was 3.8.. should I increase the dose but by how much. my gyno resigned from the current hospital .. please advice me.. last pregnancy also when my tsh was 3.8 my doc advised me to 6.25mg along with 12.5mg

A. Mam I do agree that your gynaecologist may have designed from the current hospital but you cannot increase or decrease the dose if you are coming to continue with the same doctor you talk to her over a phone call or if you’re going to change the doctor you have to ask them we cannot suggest you to increase the amount of medicine it’s not advisable
