#ask the expert,sir/Mam my baby is 3 months old he has done his poo 6 days gape giving by glycerine suppositories ,after that he doesn't do potty for 5 days ,I don't want to make a habbit of glycerine suppositories ,what medicines can I give him for constipation ,he is only on breastfeeding .he has no other complications.feeding well , passing urine ,sleeps well.

A. Constipation in Babies less than 6 months is very common and more in formula fed babies you can give bonnisan drops and some enmzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age
