Ask the expert Saw many black thread like thing in my 8.5 month old baby poop which was loose. I am feeding her banana, ragiapple cerelac, khichdi with carrors, beans, potatoes and pumpkin and fm/bm. What it could be then? Are they worms?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. this is normal in babies .This is physiological and normal for kids . No need to worry for this as it is according to the age of baby and usual process in growth . For examination can consult any doctor for any query related to same .

It’s all normal and common
No need to worry
It may happen due to fm or iron tonic
Give two liquid diet followed by BM or formula milk
Give seasonal fruits vegetables cereals mashed potato mashed banana mashed sweet potato
If baby is active there is nothing to worry about it
