A. Your child is having constipation for which kindly give plenty of water to drink and fibre diet made from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits. Changes in diet has to be made Specially give papaya, banana, oats, fennel seeds water pear, prune, pineapple, resins, plum as it will help in decreasing constipation. Even after that the problem continues kindly meet your doctor for constipation medicine. it is important for you tof know that the problem of constipation will improve with increasing age of the child. You may increase or decrease the dosage of constipation medicine if needed according to the consistency of the stool.

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Please give prune juice to the baby to relieve from constipation and gas. Also give fiber rich food items like soups and salads to the baby. Please increase water intake of the baby. Also boil saunf pudina and ajwain in water and give that water to the baby on cooling off.
