Q.

#ask the expert. I breastfeed my 2.5 month old son. While feeding I can hear the sound of gulping down the milk for the initial 5/7 minutes. After that I don't hear any such sound. Does that mean he is not getting enough milk supply?

A. Signs your baby is getting enough milk You can hear and see your baby swallowing. Your baby's cheeks stay rounded, not hollow, during sucking. They seem calm and relaxed during feeds. Your baby comes off the breast on their own at the end of feeds.
