#Ask the Expert Hello My daughter is 4 months old. we have checked the temperature and it is 99.8. please advise if i can give paracetamol.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. no need at of noe if baby s active. fever is said if baby s temperature is above or 99.5 farenheit. Then needs medicines to treat. Can give calpol or sumol for fever for relief. as fever is a sign of immune response so see doctor soon for cause of fever.

Manali K MehtaMom of a 9 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi parent Any temperature at 100f or above is considered as fever. You may use cold sponging You may give her a spoon of lukewarm water every hour in the daytime ( don't wake her up though) Take sunbath daily with her head and ears covered
