# Ask the doctor Today I noticed blood in my baby's stool, he cried alot while passing it . I introduced baby corn a day before yesterday. what can be the reason please help me to know the reason. thank u.......

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. The baby is having hard stools most likely and that have caused a cut in the Anal opening which is causing pain and bleeding and you have to give lots of water and high-fiber dietWrite Your Answer Here

See Blood in the stool can mostly be an indication for stomach infection so it would be better that you once get a stool test done for your child to have a clarity about it because till the time the students is not done or you do not consult a doctor it would be very difficult to say anything about it
