Q.
As the winters are coming to end in delhi. I am not sure if I should make my 2 month old wear sweater or not because she is sweating in it.I use to wrap her in blanket also.Elder people say that my little one should wear sweater as it is still cold for babies so please suggest.

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist8 years agoA. cover from head to toe. use adequate blankets, 1 layer should be additional to what you are wearing for cold weather. check baby's palms and soles to have an idea whether he is cold or not.

AditiMom of a 7 yr 1 m old boy6 years agoA. I personally dont like sweaters as they are textured and can be irritating to baby’s skin also they have fluff which can cause allergies. Its better to dress her in layers. First layer should be cotton, second can be thermal and to top it off you can invest in a fleece onsie which have in built booties n mittens. Its imp to keep the baby comfortable.

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children8 years agoA. If the cold climate is settling and baby is sweating, then u can reduce the thickness of the clothes gradually. Like instead of sweater, you can cover the baby with two or three layers of clothes and then as the climate gets better u can reduce the layers.
