Q.

As my daughter is 5 months old ,she fell from bed .There is no bumping on head .She cried for 5 to 10 minutes and stopped.I checked her full body there is no injury. She did not vomit .Is there any precautions that I should take

A. it is important to keep the child for observation for at least 48 hours and if the child develops danger signs like severe headache or excessive crying or excessive vomiting or abnormal movements or lethargy or seizures then kindly meet your doctor immediately for examination. if none of above danger signsz are present then you can follow wait and watch policy for pain yozu can give paracetamol which will help in also decreasing swelling on the head. also apply ice locally.

A. hi yes , please observe your child for next 48 hours too if there is any symptom like fever, irritability, breathing difficulty , dazzineess, low appetite, vomiting, frequent stomach pain etc then please visit your nearest pediatrician immediately.
