ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist4 years agoA. Hello mom you can first initially start with some liquids for the baby now , such as dal or rice water or vegetable soup or fresh fruit juices. And from the 6 months onwards you can start with semi solids and mashed foods try to give home cooked foods as much as possible and avoid commercial mixes .
You can give steamed and mashed vegetables or mashed, suji or ragi or multigrain mix, kichidi etc
NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. hello it would be better to exclusively breastfeed your baby or give infant formula milk if required till the baby compltes 6 months and after which you can be giving your child semi solid food and liquid based food in the diet which will help in the growth of your child
