armpit temperature of 4month baby is 99.5 is a fever

A. no. A normal temperature in babies and children is about 36.4C (97.5F), but this can vary slightly. A fever is usually considered to be a temperature of 38C (100.4F) or above. Just breast feed well... Maintain comfortable room temperature, keep temp check timely

A. When taken orally or arm pit, a temperature higher than 99.5 degrees is diagnosed as a fever. Typically, if your child is behaving normally, there is no need for any fever-lowering treatment.
