Any mom using simyl mct oil for your baby's (especially preemie) easy weight gain?

Supriya MaliMom of 2 children5 years agoA. yes, My baby is premature and I used MCT oil and it help alot to gain weight also if ur doctor suggest you then use lactodex Hmf powder for better weight gain

Ammaarah ManiyarMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy7 years agoA. yes.. when my baby was born prematurely.after 10 days the doc prescribed Simyl MCT oil , a few drops before every feed. I exclusively breastfed the baby and also gave him the drops. After a couple of weeks, as his weight gain was good (1 kg in 15-20 days) the doctor suggested to discontinue the drops . He has continued to have a consistent weight gain. In my opinion breastfeeding is the best way to help baby gain weight, provided the mother is eating a healthy and nutritious diet.
