any gynae....at 32 weeks ...my placenta is fundo posterior with grade 3 ..but not low lying...pls explain in detail ..what does it mean? is it placenta previa? what about grade 3 so early? what precautions and medicine i need to be taken ? should i require bed rest?ī

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist5 years agoA. Fundo posterior means that you are placenta is located in the upper segment and that is the safest place where the placenta should be. Low-lying placenta is a high-risk.So no need to take any strict bed rest. Once you enter you are ninth month the placental maturity will be somewhere around grade 2 to grade 3. By the time your term it will be great three with calcifications.Write Your Answer Here
