Dress your baby in loose, breathable cotton clothes and keep the room cool with a fan or AC. Avoid overdressing, even at night. Bathe your baby daily with lukewarm water and a mild baby soap. After drying, you can apply a gentle calamine lotion or prickly heat powder (pediatric-approved) to soothe the skin.
Avoid using oily creams or talcum powders, as they can block pores. Keep the affected area dry and avoid friction. If the rash worsens or the baby has a fever or seems unwell, consult your pediatrician.
