Amyra is having a fever of 102.00 could you please suggest what medicine to be given to her.

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 2 years old and she is having a high grade fever upto 102 degrees so it needs clinical examination and investigations of blood and pee to see if any infection ,give her fluids and syrup ibugesic plus 5 ml sos

Dr Raksha guptaMom of a 9 yr 8 m old boy3 years agoA. These kind of fever are usually Viral in nature . You must give paracetamol containing medicine to baby at 6 hourly for 1 day, if fever does come down to base line you must add meftal p syrup for that spike.you can do tepid sponging with Luke warm water.
