After every breast feed my baby is passing poop. Sometimes after every feed or sometimes alternate. this is happening for the last 10 days. dr has asked to give z and d plus drops . is it fine to give her the drops

A. first of all if your doctor has advised to something please start trusting the doctor as it is you approach the doctor for the solution by will the doctor give anything that can harm your baby

A. Hi, if baby is passing motion in fully watery form and mucus is present then it might be infection and lose motions for that doctor might have suggested medicine.If doctor suggested then you can start giving the medicine. Make sure there is a gap of two hours between each feed and feed only for about 20 minutes that is 10 minutes on the left breast and 10 minutes on the right breast. And burp your baby well after every feed which is very important for a good digestion. If you are giving formula milk try to give formula milk using a glass or a spoon. Avoid using bottles has bottle leads to infection if not sterilised properly.Write Your Answer Here
