Q.

after 6 hrs of first dose paracetamol if temperature is 98 or 96.4 shall give second dose drops or else when ever temperature beyond 99 then only shall I give? or if fever goes up and down irrespective of temperature shall I continue dose for 3 days 6 hourly for my 2 months 20 days old daughter

A. only the temperature above 99 degree f is is considered fever for that you can give calpol 3 times a day and cold sponging can be done but if it continues consult your douwctor fever indicates infection

A. Nope There is no need of giving second dosage to the child because but of course if the fever is under control it somewhere on 96 like you say then it is not fever is the temperature rises more than 99° fahrenheit then only you should be giving medicine for fever otherwise not
