aariz my 5 month old baby weight is 8.5kgs. Kindly advise this weight is sufficient fr this age and more over can we start to give cerelac at this age.. #Vaccination

you can give complementary feeding only after completion of 6 months of age

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent! It all depends on your child’s birth weight. It is said to be ideal if the baby doubles its birth weight by 6 months completion and triples by one year completion. Semi solids and water should be given only after 6 months completion along with daily intake of milk. Good luck and take care.
