A mother has type 2 diabetes will risk the growth of the child if she continues breastfeeding without control of diabetes.

A. There is no problem with that but still if you have so much of dilemma it’s better to check with your doctor they will help you properly also for the Mom I would advise you to do some know your nutrition alterations after consulting a nutrition expert for your betterment

Q. #asktheexperts I came to know that I have diabetes during second month of my pregnancy. I delivered a baby Girl but still I don't know whether it is GDM Or type 2 diabetes. Is it Ok to breastfeed the baby? my husband's doubt is will baby get diabetes because of me breastfeeding he is not feeling ok of me breastfeeding my baby girl... Also my breast milk is little watery than before will diabetes make it watery or can you tell me is there anything else issue...
