Q.

A 10-month-old baby had mucus with a little blood in her stool. She was started on antibiotics, and the blood in the mucus stopped. However, when the medicine was stopped after two days, the blood with mucus in the stool recurred. What could be the reason for this, and how can it be treated? How long should the treatment be continued?

A. If you want I would just currently recommend you to get a stool test done for your child that’s actually going to give you a very clear picture about the reason behind mucus and blood in the motion with which if you start with antibiotics and precautions I think that would be better
