Q.
9 days old baby is not doing poop from last 7 days. can anyone suggest if this is normal or need to consultant with doctor.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed bafybies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months .
you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoidefd before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .
