7 months old has fever 2 days back now he kept the crab piece in his mouth. is it okay anything problem?

What is this logic of putting crab piece into the mouth of the child that’s not clear to me I could not understand the logic but yes at the same time I would like to tell you that you cannot give any kind of non-veg food to the child prior to the age of 10 months completion
